Today, Ecuador owns a real advantage in terms of Cocoa, with more than 70% of the global fine flavour cocoa production positioning us as the most important producers of fine flavour cocoa in the world.

This shaped a very favorable image, essential for the country.
This Cocoa has very specific characteristics such as floral and fruity perfumes, notes of nuts, what makes this cocoa unique, also known under the name of "SABOR ARRIBA".

All these characteristics and specificities which make the greatness and the uniqueness of this cocoa come first of all from the genetic origin of the grain, which express itself through a know-how post-harvest mastered, combined to a nature of soil, a climate, a luminosity which only exist in one place of the world: Ecuador, magic country situated on the famous point of "La Mitad del Mundo."

The "Cocoa Nacional Arriba," known also under the name of "pepa de oro" is industrially transformed to obtain a semi-finished product possessing the same virtues of exquisite pallets of aromas and flavors characteristic of the Ecuadorian cocoa only:
